Dr Au received his BA, MA, MPhil and PhD from the City University of Hong Kong, Chinese University of Hong Kong and University of Hong Kong respectively. His research interests include Excavated Chinese Texts, Chinese Paleography, Classical Chinese Grammar and Early Chinese Texts. Dr Au’s research focuses on Excavated Bamboo Manuscript, particularly in relation to Chinese Characters and Pre-Qin history.
